We're planning Friday - Sunday.
September 22 - 24, 2023. Actual wedding on September 23, 2023. Let us know if you can/want to stay all 3 days, one day, or ...?
There are things being planned, but in a very lazy activity way.
While mostly we're *go big or go home* ... we're not planning a giant wedding.
It's an intimate, foresty, on the river weekend celebration.
A refresher from the invitation:
f r i d a y - a u t u m n a l e q u i n o x
there’s a whole river area to explore, arrive whenever you like
fishing, hiking, kayaks or just drink wine and gossip
we’re planning dinner and sitting around a fire and witchy stuff
foraging for flowers and making floral crowns
s a t u r d a y - w e d d I n g
dinner and dancing and drinks and merriment
s u n d a y - b r u n c h
forest and river and whatever you feel for
you can stay as long as you would like
smoke weed, relax or totally take a 5 mile hike
float around in a blow up flamingo, the world is your oyster
It's in Klamath California. There is an airport nearby, in Crescent City.
Which isn't far or it's a day drive from Seattle or the Bay Area.
And yes, it's kinda remote.
We'll send a car for you, or help you figure out travel.
You won't regret your drive in, it's freaking gorgeous.
That's up to you.
Going out for a walk stuff. Water clothes. We'll have sunscreen and bug spray.
Fancyish stuff for a wedding. Sparkles. It's on grass tho so don't get crazy with your shoes unless you are one of those magical humans that can walk in fancy shoes on any terrain.
The Requa Inn is walkable to the lodge, and it's gorgeous. Gorgeous view, it's super cute inside and serves breakfast by the sweetest gay thrupple you'll ever meet.
There's a Holiday Inn with a slot casino. They have good nachos but I lost $25 there.
There are a TON of RV and campsites around. Some of them will set up an RV for you, which if you'd like privacy or the experience of a campfire on your own. And breakfast with a slow wakeup in nature is awesome. We stayed at Camper Corral when we were there. They have a weird barn place that serves food, showers and actual restrooms. I think they serve alcohol, too, in the barn, but we never made it there in time.

This place was rly rly cute and on the river.

This place is LITERALLY almost on the property, like you can look out your window and see it. I didn't check with them, but on the website they say you can rent RV's. They were confusing to talk to, but seemed downhome nice.

If you for real need help with the area just drop us a note. We stayed there for most of a week on vacation so I feel like we got the feel of the area.
Only if you want to.
We'll feed you. (I'm hiring a chef to help me, and there will be grab and go stuff, in addition to actual meals)
We'll keep you hydrated. (We're planning a cocktail & mocktail bar)
There's so much lovely nature to take in, it's on the river. We'll probably rent a boat if we can find one. We'll have campfires at night. But there's going to be down time to enjoy yourself by yourself if you want. Kayaks. We'll bring some floaty things and tie you off to the dock if that's your thing. We love the idea of everyone tied to the dock in giant flamingos.
Like all good love stories, I picked Ramie up in a gay bar.
